Shrimp By You

Went on a busy Friday night. Was told there were 2 big parties that night. We ended up waiting a while for our food, but I think it was worth the wait. They gave our party of seven 2 orders of fries for our long wait. I got a lb. of shell on Shrimp with black pepper sauce and bang bang spicy level. I really enjoyed this sauce. Next time I'll prob. go for the bang bang bang spicy level. And maybe even spring for the Dungeness Crab.

This is our favorite place. We come here at least once a month. The service is exceptional and food is great! Price is reasonable versus other places and this place is super clean.

We've been coming here since they opened and we love the fact that they always stock all the seafood on their menu! Many a time we've gone to other competitors and they never have dungeness or they ran out of King or Snow Crab. A lot of crab boil places usually only have crawfish left in stock. What a Big disappointment! Not Shrimp By You, they stock it all!!! We noticed on our last visit that the sauces changed in flavor, a little less sweet but still very good! The one thing that hasn't changed is the polite attentive staff. If you're craving a seafood boil then this is the place. Enjoy!

I loved everything about this new restaurant. It just has a great vibe and open modern feel. The seafood was the freshest ever and I will be back often with my friends. I grew up going to Fulton Fish Market in Manhattan and was spoiled early. So glad to live close by here in Beautiful Torrance 👍🏽!

This is a family-owned shrimp boil place that was absolutely delicious. The clam chowder and shrimp boil were totally on point. This would be a good location for a date.

The best "secret" shrimp place in Torrance. Right behind/front Torrance airport. Scrumptious shrimp and crab boil, lobster roll, fish tacos that just melts in your mouth after a crunchy punch. Always fresh and so divine! Food to share with family and loved ones. Great selection of brews. You'll love this place.

What an AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS AND HOSPITABLE "hidden gem"! Stumbled across this wonderful establishment while looking for a place serving soup (daughter recently had tonsilectomy). BAM! Fresh clam chowder sign caught our eye and we WILL BE REGULARS! Great atmosphere, background music, Flat screens with sports on, friendly and attentive staff and management and some very tasty and filling menu items! Check out their Happy Hour, too! Actually better than fishermen market in San Pedro

Overpriced and underwhelming food. Wife had a lobster boil which tasted a bit old and I had clam chowder and fish and chips. The clam chowder had good flavor but was really thin. The fish and chips was advertised as 4 pieces of cod which sounded great but is actually a small filet of cod cut into 4 tiny strips. Also, they put an overly sweet seasoning all over the fish and chips which I wasn't a fan of. Overall we felt we could get a lot better experience somewhere else for $100.

Nice place and nice atmosphere. The background jams are good along with sports on the TV's. Got the shrimp with garlic butter and the bang, bang! Real good but the potato was under cooked a it was a bit hard but everything else was delightful and we'll enjoyed.

My friends recommended this place so we decided to go check it out the other day. The food is similar to places like boiling crab, and tastes just as delicious. For dining out on a Saturday we we're fortunate because it wasn't that busy. We ordered shrimp, clams, muscles and added sausage to finish off the bowl. On the side we had oysters, chicken wings, rice, and a bowl of clam chowder. To finish off the night we split the bread pudding and the chocolate brownie. We enjoyed the whole experience.Pros:- Extremely friendly staff- All the food was delicious, the oysters were amazing and the deserts were phanominal- You can ask to have your shrimp peeled (way easier then having to peel them yourself)- The beer options are well thought out, I had 805 and it went perfectly with the food- Reasonably priced for the area and quality of foodCons:- More locations would be great, Torrance is quite a drive from my house.

Really good food and service

Loved the shrimp! This is a seafood place you can order shrimp, crab, mussels, crab legs, etc. Get with different seasonings and spice levels. They give u a bib and paper on the tables to catch everything. You can order with aides like rice, fries, corn, smoked sausage etc. Will definitely be back.

This is a pretty decent place but i guess they are still getting adjusted with this virus thing. Called in 3 hours ago and still been waiting 45 min so far for food to come out. Rest of clients are getting anxious too.

The shrimp was good but I was surprised at the amount in a pound, about 12 or 13. I'm sure my ignorance. The bread was really good and the service friendly.

Went for my birthday with the family and loved it! Fresh crabs and lobster with spicy sauce is the best! Recommended making reso during peak hour, there might be a wait.

Food & service is excellent, I love Black Pepper sauce with shrimp & clams. I eat there one time a week for lunch.

Good fresh seafood excellent service

I got the fish and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos only had 3 cooked shrimp and the fish on the fish tacos wasn't good. The coleslaw on both was good however. The clam chowder was okay, not special.

The food is really good, and I do recommend going with three "bangs" if you line spicy food, because any less will probably be disappointing. Also they play country music. :(

Yikes, stick to places like Boiling Crab, Claws etc. I order a pound of mussels and got every over cooked mussels. When it was addressed I was would my mussels were going to be comped, and a fresh set would be provided. I declined however got a fresh bag anyway.The next set back would be the Bill. After receiving the 2nd lb of mussels I did not ask for. I was charged for it. But the instead of being charged for 2 lbs I was only charged for 1. Also the menu is very limited.

This is a nice lil seafood gem. The seafood is fresh,sweet & nicely seasoned. The owner & staff are friendly. I appreciate great customer service. I ordered the shrimp boil with sausage & potatoes , snow crabs. The alcohol drinks were just right. I also ordered the chicken strips & fries, they were also fresh & seasoned, for my picky granddaughter, who ate it all. Good portions. Didn't get a picture of the oysters on half shell, so sweet, gone in less than a min.I came on a wednesday so it was quite atmosphere. I will revisit again & highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. Had a delicious shrimp boil here, amazing flavor and very fresh. I got the a mix of all the sauces in bang bang bang hot. Great & friendly service as well. Highly recommend.

Food was great the server was very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain the menu and concept. Really had patience with our group. This is a must for seafood lovers.

I think the portion of fish and chips is probably smaller than any place serving this dish. However! This fish and this sauce is probably the best I've had in recent memory. I'll certainly be back to eat this same dish as long as they serve that spicy sauce.

2019 November: server is patient & attentive to our needs; our orders were served in no time (delish). The desert pudding topped with ice cream is one of the best that I have tasted so far.

Fantastic! This place has so much potential. I'm in love with it. It taste soo good! I had shrimp and fish and chips. All was soo yummy. The service was great. I will be coming back. I found my knew little place for a quick bite.
